As I still paint abstract acrylic/mixed media roughly exploring landscapes of memory these can still be done in my basement; however during my BFA I started expanding into soil chromatography developed with cyanotype. Thus my current obsession is biological based art using light biopigments from specific sites, cyanotype, solarfast and the soil chromatograms and plants that grow there. I also use transparencies of my photographs of those landscapes or objects in them with phonograms using cyanotype or biopigments. These represent images of the landscapes dear to me I.e. portraits of these places . The support I mostly use is paper but I am experimenting with wood and bio plastic on glass.
